ನಮ್ಮ ಇತಿಹಾಸ

ಜನತಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಮಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಾಯಿತು 1944 1944 by Sri R. S. Hukkerikar, and has been under the stewardship of Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala since 1973. Today the trust runs around 25 institutions on the Vidyagiri campus.
JSS Shri Manjunatheshwara Institute of UG & PG Studies was established in 2012 after being carved out of the erstwhile JSS Banashankari Arts, Commerce and S.K. Gubbi Science College, established in 1944. The institution was created to cater exclusively to higher education in the fields of Science, Commerce, Management, Computer Applications, and Postgraduate Studies. Since its inception, the institute has expanded its academic offerings, strengthened its infrastructure, and continued the JSS tradition of providing quality education and holistic development to students.

ಒಂದು ಕಾಲೇಜು ಒಂದು ಪರಿಸರ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಾಯಿತು.
JSS ಉದ್ದೇಶಪೂರ್ವಕ ಹಂತಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿತು, ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದೂ ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡಬಹುದು ಮತ್ತು ಯಾವ ಮಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಬಹುದು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿತು.
ಅಡಿಗಲ್ಲು ಹಾಕಲಾಯಿತು
ಈ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ತನ್ನ ಮೊದಲ ಕ್ಯಾಂಪಸ್‌ಗೆ ಅಡಿಪಾಯ ಹಾಕಿತು, ಇದು ಈ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗುವ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದೀರ್ಘಾವಧಿಯ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಕೋನದ ಆರಂಭವನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ಸಾಂಕ್ರಾಮಿಕ ರೋಗಗಳ ನಿರ್ಬಂಧಗಳ ಹೊರತಾಗಿಯೂ, ಪೂರ್ವ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಮೊದಲ ಸಮೂಹಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾಗಿಲು ತೆರೆಯಲಾಯಿತು.
ಹೊಸ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಕಟ್ಟಡ
ಆಧುನಿಕ ಪ್ರಯೋಗಾಲಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಮೀಸಲಾದ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟಿಂಗ್ ಬ್ಲಾಕ್ ಅನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಪದವಿ ಕಾಲೇಜು ವಿಭಾಗವು ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟ ಮತ್ತು ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಮಾನ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಿತು.

ಅಡಿಪಾಯ
ಒಂದು ಇಂಟರ್‌ಮೀಡಿಯೇಟ್ ಕಲಾ ಕಾಲೇಜು; 1949ರ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಭಾಗವನ್ನೂ ಸೇರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
1950–60ರ ದಶಕ
ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಗುರುತು
ಈ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್‌ಗೆ 1952 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಸರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು; ಐಇಆರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯಾ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರವು ಜೆಎಸ್‌ಎಸ್ ಅನ್ನು ಸಂಶೋಧನೆಗೂ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸುತ್ತವೆ.
1970 ರ ದಶಕ
ಪಿಯು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಟೀವರ್ಡ್‌ಶಿಪ್
ಕಲೆ, ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪಿಯು (PU) ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ; 1973ರಲ್ಲಿ ಧರ್ಮಸ್ಥಳವು ಇದರ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯ ಹೊಣೆಗಾರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತು.
